The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is the world’s largest non-governmental organization working in the field of sexual and reproductive health information and services. It has six Regional Offices worldwide. The Africa Regional Office is based in Nairobi, Kenya while the international secretariat is in London, UK.

The IPPF Africa Regional Office is seeking an individual to fill the position of Head of Department Strategy, Organizational Development and Governance.

The role of the Head of Department Strategy, Organizational Development and Governance is to be responsible for supporting the Regional Director in the development of IPPFAR’s strategies, organizational development and governance policies (general policy formulation is a function of policy makers – Board of Trustee), monitoring implementation thereof and compliance, and performance management.

This position also serves as the chief advisor to the Regional Director on organizational strategy, development and governance, operational policy and organizational performance matters, for the purpose of ensuring that through its record of performance with respect to the delivery of quality, efficient and effective services, IPPFAR maintains its position as the leader in SRHR on the continent.
