The year 2009 presented us with another opportunity to
continue touching people’s lives through the provision of
our wide range of SRH services as listed in the strategic plan 2005-2009.

Our passion and commitment to the realisation
of SRH needs of the poor and marginalised or
excluded groups and our belief that every person
has an equal chance to a fairer life regardless
of the social, economic, cultural and political
backgrounds, has had profound impact on SRH
outcomes in sub-Saharan African countries where
we are present.

The interventions we made during the year under
review were also aimed at contributing to the
achievement of the Millennium Development
Goals and Maputo Plan of Action adopted by
African governments in 2006.
