Youth Representative

Ms Eleonore Kouakou Aya

Eléonore Aya Kouakou is a Modern Humanities university student in Côte d’Ivoire.  Since 2004, she has been actively involved in the Association Ivoirienne pour le Bien Etre Familial (AIBEF), as the National Youth Action Movement Chairperson and Youth Advisor to the National Executive Committee. Her excellent management and communications skills have been tapped into by her Member Association to enhance its visibility, organise YAM activities and train youth on gender mainstreaming in programmes. She has also expertise in counselling, children’s and human rights, IEC/BCC, sexual and reproductive health and resource mobilisation.

In addition to the pivotal role she plays in AIBEF, Eléonore has been a volunteer in the Education, Health and Development Movement (MESAD), secretary to the Coordinating Body of Youth Associations in Koumassi, Abidjan, and advisor to the Koumassi Children’s Association. Eléonore has also been a facilitator and consultant for the John Hopkins University/ Centre for Communications Programmes youth interventions.

At her young age, she has demonstrated her distinguished commitment to values such as volunteerism, leadership and selflessness for the welfare of youth and the community.
