Mr. Eric Guemne (23) a Cameroonian, is the Youth Representative for IPPF Africa Region and he also serves as a Member of the IPPF Governing Council. Currently, he is at the Protestant University of Central African (PUCA) studying for a first degree in social science, peace and development.  He is also undertaking a degree in psychology at the University of Yaoundé I.   He is the Chairperson of the student association of the Protestant University of Central African.

Mr. Guemne joined Cameroonian National Association of Family Welfare (CAMNAFAW) in April 2002 and has been actively involved in youth activities. He has played key roles in sensitization and advocacy programs of CAMNAFAW at both school and community level. Before being elected as Youth Representative of IPPF Africa Region in June 2008, Mr. Guemne was the National Youth Chairperson of the Association of Cameroon
