IPPF–Africa Region has a Regional Executive Committee composed of 9 members elected for three years by the Regional Council. The Regional Council is composed of delegates from Member Associations. The Executive Committee determines the organization’s strategic direction so as to deliver its mission, goals and objectives. It creates policies and monitors the organization’s activities in all areas. Policies are implemented by staff members in the regional office, in close collaboration with Member Associations in the countries. Member associations are structured in the same way.

The current Regional Executive committee was elected on 28 June, 2008. The honorary officers are: Mrs Félicité NSabimana, Chairperson and Mrs Roseline Toweh, Treasurer.

Each year, IPPF-Africa Region holds a Regional Council meeting that brings together stakeholders from the governing bodies of each MA and the management representatives. This meeting is uasually held mid year towards the end of June or early July.
